Neurophysiotherapy is a special branch of physical therapy and is intended for patients with any of a neurological disorder of the central nervous system (stroke, cerebral palsy, craniocerebral trauma, aneurysms, tumors…) or peripheral nervous system (multiple sclerosis, polyneuropathy, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson Mb…). Neurophysiotherapy is based on neurophysiology, neuropathology and the normal pattern of movement. Neurophysiotheraphists are specially trained therapists for treatment of neurological patients.
